"I am the proud owner of a new Rockwood Ulta-lite camper. I bought it at the Fall 2008 MARVAC Camper Show @ Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, MI. I have been trailer camping for many years. My 1982 Coachman 16' travel trailer had served me well but I was looking to replace it. The challenge was finding the layout I wanted in a camper that was built by a company that stood by their product. I found the Rockwood Ultra-Lite 18' within the Lowery RV Center display. It was the identical layout of my 1982 Coachman with the latest updates - Awning, larger refrigerator, sterio, microwave, dual gas bottles, antenna, outside additional shower, spare tire, battery box w battery, wheel for crank hoist,AC,power fan in the interior of trailer, good lighting throughout, many electrical outlet plugs, great storage, interior gauges for the holding tanks, automatic light hot water heater. These were all updates and improvements from my last trailer. These got me interested in the trailer but what sold me was the way I was treated during the sales process. I have had good and bad business dealings with camper dealerships. I am a business woman myself and I know about and believe in small business. Lowery Trailer is a small family owned business that is now owned and operated by the son/Rick Lowery of the man who started the business decades ago. This business has been able to survive the economic ups and downs of Michigan economy for one reason - they make their customers happy! As a result, the bulk of their business is repeat business. Many times, in the business world, women are not taken seriously. Their time and talents/knowledge base are not respected. This was not the case at Lowery. ALL of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. If they did not know the answer they GOT the answer from their manufacturer rep. They replied to me in a timely manner to help me with my final decision making. When I went to close my deal my time was not wasted at the dealership with signing papers or waiting past my appointment time. My walk-thru was also a great experience. (Sam Tocco, you did a great job!) I did not feel rushed and got all my questions answered. I wanted one alteration made (an additional safety valve shut off put on the propane line that went to the exterior gas grill hook up). I went and bought the parts and for a reasonable fee that change was made before I picked up the trailer. Mike Apel was my sales person. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. He had done his "homework" and my paperwork was done right the first time so repeat trips to the dealership were NOT needed to close this deal. Owner, Rick Lowery was also AVAILABLE to speak to when Mike & I needed executive approval during the business negotiations and closing. New customers should know that this dealership provides some additional camping "perks" that the owner can pursue to get themselves some free camping. This is a great way to encourage a new owner to really "use" their trailer. I was also given Camper Show passes so I could come and say "Hi" as well as measure the windows, floor and storage compartments of one of the models now for sale at the show (my camper is identical but it is in Winter Storage and I can not access it until April). I sew and I am going to make insulated window coverings. I want to finish them now to be ready for the upcoming camping season. The final test for this dealership will come when I take my camper back in the Spring 2009. I do have some concerns with the uphostery on two cushions. There was a snag on one and a stain on one bolster cushion. I have been told that this will be looked at and taken care of by the manufacturer. I am hoping that the turn around time for these replacements will not eat into any of my camping time this Spring. I feel the true test of a dealership is how you are treated AFTER you buy your unit. To date, Lowery RV Center is batting 1000 in my book! "

"It's too bad 5 stars is the highest rating we could give. We have always been more than satisfied which is why we only deal with Lowery. From Tom and Rick making our purchase flawless to Paul and his service staff making our travel trailer better than new when it has been in for service. We are currently looking for a new trailer and it too will come from Lowery when we are ready. "
